i really agree with this quote. i think that we need to moniter ourselves, and make sure to be totally concentrated in order to have success as a whole. it is important to pay close attention to detail as well, so you can be concentrated in everything. nice job fran!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what we need to remember when we're down in a game or the other team is catching up. If we don't concentrate on working hard to win the game and focus on good passing or smart defense, we won't be able to win the game and have a sucessful season.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with this quote! When we're on the field the only people we should be worrying about are the ones on the field and the rest of our team, not the people in the stands. We need to focus on the game/practice we're in at that moment and not everything that happened at school that day. Forget the last play and any mistake you may have made, nothing you do can change what's already happened. DETAIL and CONCENTRATION! If you want to suceed, your focus has to be on that one thing you're working towards(W.I.N.: What's Important Now). And don't forget what we talked about before practice today: 99% focus = 100% failure. Great quote "buddy!"

ReplyDeletedefinently, so true. We have to be focused, alert, and on our feet the whole time. We need to be adaptable to the transtions/plays going on around us and our surroundings. In soccer you never know whats going to happen, since its a fast paced game and where one wrong bounce can cost ya. If that happens we gotta listen to the `good bird`, have self control and focus even harder for that goal. So as a team we gotta keep eachother focused during games/practice. Then we will end up being the best we can be.

ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with Rae, soccer is so unpredictable so we need to be focused at all times. If for one second we let our guard down a goal can be scored and we could lose the game. So even at practice we need to act like its a game so we get into the habbit of being focused all the time.

way to pick a quote that i wouldnt understand at first lol...i totally agree though. we need to make sure that we are focused in all areas even the ones we sometimes overlook,like technique.

At all times during a game or practice, we need to be focused and concentrate. If there is just one second were thinking about a different topic other than soccer, that could be the second we get scored on or lose the ball. Like Kaitlyn said, at practice stay concentrated so it becomes a habit.

soccer is as much of a mental game then it is a physical game...if not more. concentration and detail are all part of the mentality (is that a word?? lol) of the game. we need to be focused b/c if we're not focused there is no way we are going to succeed. and that would be DEPRESSING!!
