Back at it tomorrow (Monday) evening in the soccer world...and I can't wait. :)

Here's the tentative schedule for the upcoming week:

**Monday/Tomorrow: 5-7 PM training...game grass field...POSSIBLY in the HS gym due to weather so bring indoor gear...wear black.

**Tuesday: District Semifinal @ Allendale (7161 Pleasant View Court in Allendale)...dress up in school...meet in my room by 2:45...bring your own healthy meal at this point (unless someone chimes in)...bus leaves a 3:15...wear Hail shirts...we are in white game uniforms for the game...game starts at 5.

**Wednesday/Thursday: tentative after school training.

**Friday: tentative District Championship game @ Allendale vs.??? (5 PM)

**Monday, June 3: 6:30 PM Dessert Banquet in the HHS cafeteria.

**Tuesday, June 4 and Thursday, June 6: Regionals @ Holland.

You girls have pledged to do a few things this weekend to contribute to a championship cause. Will assume you've done them/will do them.

Go Hawkeyes. Beat Allendale. Keep marching. Put the necessary work in. Let's GO!

Happy Sunday, all! Hope this email finds everyone well.

So it's here: the final week of the regular season and the start of state playoffs. Man, what a ride it's been!

The best thing at this point of the season is that it seems as though we are finishing strong in terms of overall performance and "unified" nature as a group. It's been a great thing to witness as a coach. Was telling the girls before the game yesterday that since our April 24 Pink Game vs. Unity, we've gone 5-2 (with the two losses 1-0 scores) and out-scored opponents a combined 14-2. All the while, the girls seems to be growing in relationships and commitment to each other. As for yesterday's game too, we battled all types of adversity to put in a certainly solid effort vs. Z. East.

The girls and coaches look to FINISH THIS SEASON IN AN EVEN STRONGER WAY!

Here's the tentative schedule for this upcoming week:

**Monday: game at Unity (3:45 PM start...JV as well)...DRESS UP in school as the sophomores are supposed to look business casual for their field trip...all girls are released at 2:15 PM from classes...bus leaves at 2:30 from lower lot...our bus will be the front bus in the line of buses...Rylin = team snack.

**Tuesday: 3-5:15 practice...wear gray...game grass field.

**Wednesday: Districts Round 1...home vs. Wyoming at 5 PM...dress up in school...meet in my room at 2:45...team meal = TBD (anyone want to volunteer for this? Or else we'll probably have the girls bring their own healthy meal to my classroom).

**Thursday: (depending on how Wednesday goes) 3:15-5:15 training...game grass field...wear gray.

**Friday: (depending on how Wednesday goes) 3-5 training...game grass field...wear black.

**Next Monday/Memorial Day: (depending on how Wednesday goes) 5-7 PM training...game grass field...wear gray.

**Next Tuesday: (depending on how Wednesday goes) District Round 2 at ?????

Side note: as mentioned in our parent meeting at the outset of the season, friendly reminder to do our very best during games to solely cheer on the Hawkeye players!

**Friday: home game vs. Holland (SENIOR NIGHT...see below for more details)...Laura = team meal...Sierra/Meg = ball girls....Hail Shirt.

**Senior Night: We will be on the grass game field...JV starts at 4 as usual...will introduce parents/seniors immediately at the start of halftime of the 5:30 Varsity game by number order...parents can start gathering near the corner scoreboard perhaps with 10 mins. left in the half?? Looking forward!

Just checking in regarding another week of soccer coming up here. Here's the tentative schedule for an important, kind-of-all-over-the-place week:

**Monday: game @ Z.East...wear full warm-up in school...meet in my classroom at 3:30 PM...bus leaves at 4 PM (Sierra = meal on bus/vid). Required to ride the bus home....wear black training shirt.

**Tuesday: TEAM PICS @3 (game field)...3:15-5:15 practice on game grass field...wear gray.

**Wednesday: home vs. Unity...dress up in school...my room by 3 PM...Meg = meal/vid...    Rylin/Tanna = ball girls...wear black.

**Thursday: 3:15-5:15 practice on turf field...wear gray.

**Friday: 3-4:30 PM practice with MS teams on grass practice field...wear this year's black shirt! TEAM SLEEPOVER AT JESS'S.

Side note: We coaches are just so thankful to have a supporting cast of families who are constantly chipping in with various forms of assistance this season. PLEASE know how much you are appreciated! The girls too are doing a TREMENDOUS job of supporting each other this season as well. Just super impressive and fun to observe. :)

Hard to believe we're already approaching the halfway point of the regular season! Gotta keep working...

Hope Spring Break has treated you and yours well!?

For the Robinsons, it's been a blessing to spend so much extra time hanging with Baby Brielle, getting caught up on school/house/coaching work, etc.  I can't speak for the Mrs., but i'm ready and excited to get back into this thing! :)

**Friday: 3-5 practice on practice grass field...wear black.

Note: always keep in mind our "team contract", "season theme", and "team goals" for the season, girls! We can do this!

5-0 Loss @ West Ottawa

Keep your collective heads held high, ladies! The final score last night is a deceiving one in that we battled back and forth all game. We just have to improve on some physical mistakes...and it will come! Remember on this Spring Break: FITNESS and SHARPNESS!

3-0 Win vs. Jenison

We did a lot of things right last night in a pretty convincing victory in our opening game, girls. We'll have to play better in key areas though against a tougher West Ottawa squad coming up here. We can do this!  "UNIFIED"!
