2-1 Loss @ Unity

Keep the faith, ladies! Solid overall effort last night in our regular season finale. On to bigger and better things as a new season is upon us!

Upcoming Week!

Happy Sunday, all! Hope this email finds everyone well.

So it's here: the final week of the regular season and the start of state playoffs. Man, what a ride it's been!

The best thing at this point of the season is that it seems as though we are finishing strong in terms of overall performance and "unified" nature as a group. It's been a great thing to witness as a coach. Was telling the girls before the game yesterday that since our April 24 Pink Game vs. Unity, we've gone 5-2 (with the two losses 1-0 scores) and out-scored opponents a combined 14-2. All the while, the girls seems to be growing in relationships and commitment to each other. As for yesterday's game too, we battled all types of adversity to put in a certainly solid effort vs. Z. East.

The girls and coaches look to FINISH THIS SEASON IN AN EVEN STRONGER WAY!

Here's the tentative schedule for this upcoming week:

**Monday: game at Unity (3:45 PM start...JV as well)...DRESS UP in school as the sophomores are supposed to look business casual for their field trip...all girls are released at 2:15 PM from classes...bus leaves at 2:30 from lower lot...our bus will be the front bus in the line of buses...Rylin = team snack.

**Tuesday: 3-5:15 practice...wear gray...game grass field.

**Wednesday: Districts Round 1...home vs. Wyoming at 5 PM...dress up in school...meet in my room at 2:45...team meal = TBD (anyone want to volunteer for this? Or else we'll probably have the girls bring their own healthy meal to my classroom).

**Thursday: (depending on how Wednesday goes) 3:15-5:15 training...game grass field...wear gray.

**Friday: (depending on how Wednesday goes) 3-5 training...game grass field...wear black.

**Next Monday/Memorial Day: (depending on how Wednesday goes) 5-7 PM training...game grass field...wear gray.

**Next Tuesday: (depending on how Wednesday goes) District Round 2 at ?????

Side note: as mentioned in our parent meeting at the outset of the season, friendly reminder to do our very best during games to solely cheer on the Hawkeye players!
